SOCIAL REPORT 2009

The Ministry of Social Development released the 2009 Social Report. The Social Report uses a set of statistical indicators to monitor trends across 10 "domains", or areas of people's lives. Together these domains provide a picture of wellbeing at a national, regional and territorial authority level.

This year, for the first time, the Social Report will be released as a web-based document only.  The report is available on the Ministry of Social Development website: http://www.socialreport.msd.govt.nz/ .  On this website you will have access to all the national, regional and TLA data that was contained in the documents we produced and sent to you in previous years.
You will be able to manipulate the data on the website to gain the information that is important to you.
