Historical Information

Dunedin Council of Social Services (DCOSS) evolved from a committed group of men and women,
who had great ambitions, for what could be achieved by serving the community without taking sides.
DCOSS was formed at a time when the government appeared to be stepping back from the delivery of Social Services
leaving the community to pickup the pieces and to this end
DCOSS was established in 1979.
